Characters in Philip Ridley’s play are afraid to leave their house. World full of terrible things and danger awaits them behind the bolted door. Being locked in the house maintains safety. Sweets, medicine and never-ending storytelling are the only rescue. But nothing can keep the world from breaking through the door. Soon strange people will pass by their window, step inside and try to awaken them from the sleepiness.
“The Pitchfork Disney” is a play full of unbearable silence that turns modern man’s fears and passions into a spectacular sight.
The show is a collaborative work. The play is chosen and directed by actors themselves. This is a new and experimental method in georgian theatrical field.
The play is staged for the first time in Georgia.
